It was a Wednesday or Thursday night, I can not exactly remember but I had just bumped into a friend who I used to live with back in Byron Bay walking down a street and a city in Colombia. I was with another guy called Mat and we all went out to get a drink. I was not drinking as its not something I do but I went to hang out and catch up. After a little while sitting at this bar two girls walked past, both very attractive. One looked at me and then grabbed her friend and pointed at me, I was like haha ok then. I kind of half waved and they waved back and called me over. I jumped over the rail and walked down to talk to them. They spoke no English and after a conversation in Spanish they gave me their numbers and I walked back to where we had been sitting. A little later that night I called them to see what was going on. We met up and started to walk back to where Mat and I were staying. After this it all gets a little hazy, the next thing I remember for sure is waking up 3 days later. I had been to the hospital and been apparently talking on and off for the last 24 hours. I can not remember any of it!
The next thing I realized was that all my stuff was gone haha.
Basically what happened was they gave me some drug that can be blown into your face or rubbed into your skin, or put in a drink but I was not drinking so thats not possible and it knocks you out for a while. The cops knew the name of the drug and said it was pretty common for this to happen to tourists.
Basically I got so played haha damn pretty girls! But now I have no stuff. I am back in New York City looking for new camera gear though. So soon hopefully.
