Salinas.This is where I was staying in Salinas, a strange series of events led me to this place, where I was staying with a local guy in his grandmothers apartment, I ended up spending almost two weeks there and it was my best time in Ecuador by far!!Thanks Diego and Daiana and everyone else!

The Amazon!

I had been waiting to go here since I was about 8 years old, our trip had a few problems, mainly the shockie on the back left snapped off and the car was sitting on the tyre. They managed to fix this with an old tyre tube but no one was having any of it because we were so high up in the air going around crazy mountains. This was an ongoing problem because they kept trying to get us to go back in the truck. Everyone had some sort of problem with this, I was just completely in awe of where I was!

Walden Pond.

This would not be important to many people, and I personally do not know anyone that has been there, but as it is one of my favourite books and has been for a few years now, I was super excited to see it! I swam across the whole pond and spent at least 20 minutes in the middle just treading water. To me it was amazing! To others it is just a hole in the ground full of water.
